Enriching the life experience of those with autism spectrum disorders and exceptional needs by empowering those in their surrounding circle of support, while providing essential services and programs to enhance learning and raise awareness and understanding of their issues globally.

Every day, millions of people worldwide are diagnosed with some sort of exceptional need, many of which are autism spectrum disorders and giftedness. Some argue that the recent increase in this diagnosis is due to improved technology, higher medical awareness, and environmental conditions. It's so easy to think of the label and the diagnosis rather than the real person who is struggling to contend with it. These individuals have real exceptional needs and they face real daily struggles.

Our goal is to enhance the education and life experience of those on the autism spectrum and their guardians, where funding is otherwise not available. The outcome is to empower these individuals to become productive, independent, happy and fulfilled members of society, which will dramatically decrease the tremendous cost of their care to society.

KEEN EDUCATION FOUNDATION'S OBJECTIVES:

a) To enhance the education of professionals, family members and caregivers while focusing on the strengths of those with autism spectrum disorders and exceptional needs by providing, books, videos, computers, resource materials and funding for conferences to exceptional needs people or to their guardians.

b) To assist with the research of effective treatments/interventions that will enhance the lives of those individuals so they can reach their fullest potential.

c) To increase understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with autism spectrum disorders and exceptional needs and to raise awareness of the gifts they offer to the world.

d) To raise funds to achieve the purpose of the foundation.

HOW KEEN EDUCATION FOUNDATION ACHIEVES ITS OBJECTIVES:

a) By paying or partially paying for the individual and/or their guardian to attend conferences that provide tools and information to enhance their education. Also providing books, videos and online conferences to these individuals.

b) To actively solicit participants for research projects and help administratively in the reporting of the project. Also, by helping to fund research projects that will evaluate the effectiveness of treatment interventions commonly used to help people with special needs.

c) Through active search engine optimization and email campaigns via an opt-in email list. Also by being present and handing out literature at related conferences.

d) KEEN Education Foundation will actively raise funds through online channels, donor solicitation, door-to-door campaigns, community fund-raising projects, online fund-raising projects, corporate sponsorships, government grants and eventually through planned giving.
